Alein is a bold, playful non-alcoholic beer brand created for young adults. The name combines ale and in, with the spelling doubling as a nod to the alien mascot that defines the brand’s personality.
The project reimagines how non-alcoholic drinks can be positioned to feel just as exciting as their alcoholic counterparts, using futuristic aesthetics, character-driven branding, and immersive storytelling to connect with its audience.

The labels are designed to reflect the taste of the beer inside. For example, a burst of flavour for cider mixed with mango and pineapple, a zingy raspberry kick for the second, and a mellow blueberry taste for the third.

For marketing, I chose an illustrated, graffiti-driven visual language to grab attention and speak directly to the brand’s young audience. The Alein mascot was designed to reflect that demographic, expressive, playful, and a little rebellious, helping the brand feel relatable and easy to connect with across posters and campaigns.
